Castaways Seafood Grille
CastawaysSeafoodGrille
Located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, Castaway’s Seafood Grille has become one of the town’s most talked about eating spots. Since the transformation from the infamous Mary Lou’s to Castaways in 2007, we have been noted for 3 things – The “Best Clam Chowder on the Strip” (Seattle Post Integellincer), Hand cut and beer battered Fish and Chips and Prawns and Great Burgers. In addition, our full service bar boosts the best view in town – watch the hustle and bustle of the town or just sit and cheer your favorite team on the flat screens. Although not your “typical” beach town format, Castaways offers both the casual atmosphere of a coastal restaurant and a personality of its own, and all the riches of the Long Beach Peninsula just a walk away.

Discovery Trail
DiscoveryTrail
The Discovery Trail is one of the most scenic in the Pacific Northwest with outstanding views of the ocean, grassy dunes and forest groves. As it's named for Lewis and Clark's explorative trek here more than 200 years ago, you'll find several bronze sculptures along the path that commemorate the expedition. But the trail offers a collection of other impressive public art as well that adds to the trail's natural beauty

Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center
LewisandClarkCenter
The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center stands high on the cliffs of Cape Disappointment State Park, 200 feet above the pounding Pacific surf. A series of mural-sized "timeline" panels guide visitors through the westward journey of the Lewis and Clark Expedition using sketches, paintings, photographs and the words of Corps members themselves. The center also features a short film presentation, a gift shop and a glassed-in observation deck with fabulous views of the river, headlands and sea. Additional displays focus on local maritime and military history.

Marsh's Free Museum
MarshsFreeMuseum
Marsh’s Free Museum has entertained visitors to Long Beach, Washington since 1935. Perhaps best known for tabloid king Jake the Alligator Man, Marsh’s is a treasure trove of a curiosity shop. Inside you’ll find turn-of-the-century machines, from Victorian era music makers such as an imported French Canary music box and a self-playing violin, to fortune tellers, nickel peep shows and a love meter. A visit to Marsh’s is not complete without paying homage to Jake the Alligator Man. Learn all about Jake, join his fan club, buy some Gator Gear, and make plans to attend his 75th Birthday Party, over at Jake’s Place.
